I would say that your piece gets the message acroos very well, when i first looked at it i couldn't help but say "aww" because the woman depicted in the photo looks sad and heartbroken. The direction of the light is very well done as it highlights your hair and not your face, which conveys a sense of darkness and hear-ache. I also love how the background is not completely blurred out but done enough so that anyone viewing this piece is drawn to the person. Although the woman is facing down we can still see the let down faial expression which gets the concept across. The pose is very effective and the props which you use such as the heart shaped necklace lets the person connect with the woman and get some backgroung information about her, she is looking for love but has never found it. Overall i thought that this photo was brilliant as it captures the essence of heartbreak and love, bravo.
